One of the best women's teams in PNG, Defence Women's Rugby, are now proudly wearing the chang after a local company stepped into sponsor the girls' kit - so now they really do look like a force to be reckoned with!

Company General Manager of Esselars Limited, Edward Dala, commented: "As our community obligation in helping we would like to grow together with women's rugby in PNG."

The kit was presented to PNG Defence Force Commander Brig. Gen. Francis Agwi at the Ben Moide Club at Murray Barracks on behalf of the ladies.

The girls are regarded as one of the best teams in the country - winning several titles including the Premiership in the Port Moresby Women's Rugby Union Competition.

Currently they remain unbeaten. Go those girls and well done from everyone at Kukri!
